Pinsload is a Pinterest video downloader that works right in your browser. Three steps. From copying the link to having the file usually takes less than ten seconds.
In the Pinterest app, open the Pin, tap Share, then Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from your browser bar. Short pin.it links and links from any Pinterest country site, like uk.pinterest.com or pinterest.com.mx, all work.
Tap Paste, or press Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac) anywhere on the page. You can paste the whole "Check out this Pin on Pinterest" message from the app — Pinsload finds the link inside. A preview shows up with the title, creator, quality, size and length.
On a phone, tap Save to Photos, then choose Save Video in the share sheet. On a computer, click Download. The file is named after the Pin's title, like how-to-make-fast-pasta-pinsload.mp4, so you can find it later.
Pinsload is a free Pinterest downloader for public Pins. One box handles videos, images, GIFs and audio.
Every video comes back as an H.264 MP4, the format that plays on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac and every video editor. Need a lighter file? When Pinterest has one, More options also offers an HEVC copy: the same 720p picture, smaller. On our test Pin, the MP4 was 4.9 MB and the HEVC copy 3.3 MB. Pinsload adds no logo, frame or intro; if the creator put their own name in the video, that stays.
Pinterest shows resized copies in its feed. Pinsload goes back to the original upload and saves it in the format it came in — usually JPG, sometimes PNG or WebP. If a saved image looks blurry, it most likely came from the feed copy. For image-only Pins, see the Pinterest Image Downloader.
Animated Pins save as GIFs that still move, ready for a chat, a slide or a story. For GIF-only Pins, use the Pinterest GIF Downloader.
Want only the song or the voice-over? Paste a video Pin, open More options and choose Audio only. You get the audio track taken straight from the video as an M4A file, with nothing re-encoded. We don't offer MP3, because converting would only lower the quality.
When a Pin can't be downloaded, Pinsload tells you which of these it is instead of clearing the box.
Even when a creator uploads in 4K, Pinterest only serves copies up to 720×1280. That's a limit of the platform, not of Pinsload. We checked a 2160×3840 upload on 6 October 2026. Every version Pinterest offered topped out at the same size:

So when a site offers "4K" or "1080p" for a Pinterest video, it's a label on the same 720p file, or an upscaled copy that only looks bigger. Pinsload doesn't upscale and doesn't relabel: it shows you the real numbers and gives you the best file that exists.

Pinsload runs in Safari, Chrome, Edge and Firefox. On a PC, laptop or Mac, click Download and the file goes to your Downloads folder; in Chrome, press Ctrl+J on Windows or Cmd+Shift+J on Mac to see it.
No, and no site can. Pinterest serves videos up to 720p, even when the original upload was 4K. That 720p file is the best copy that exists outside Pinterest, and it's what Pinsload gives you. See how we tested it in Pinterest Video Quality.
Pinterest's own download option covers only some Pins, and its help page explains it for images only. Pinsload saves public video Pins too. If a Pin still won't download, check that you copied the whole link; otherwise it's private or secret, it has been deleted, or it only links out to another website. Pinsload tells you which one.

If an iPhone browser plays the video instead of saving it, use Save to Photos rather than Download file.
Yes. Open Pinsload in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on Windows or macOS, paste the Pin link and click Download. The MP4 goes to your Downloads folder, named after the Pin's title.
No. Pinsload saves one Pin at a time: open a Pin on the board, copy its link and paste it here. Boards and profiles aren't supported.
It depends on what you do with the file, and this isn't legal advice. Most people save a clip to watch offline. Pins belong to the people who made them, so re-posting, editing or using a video commercially needs the creator's permission. Pinsload is independent and not affiliated with Pinterest.
Yes, it's free, and you don't need an account — no email, no password, no Pinterest login. The site is paid for by ads.
You get M4A instead. Open More options on a video Pin and choose Audio only. M4A is the audio track exactly as it is in the video, and it plays in every music app. Converting it to MP3 would only lower the quality.
No. Pinsload only works with public Pins. We never ask for your Pinterest login, and we don't get around any privacy setting.
